Most Lulua statues have complex scarifications and a typical pointed coiffure. Lulua figures generally carry weapons as they represent the ideal warrior. This particular female statue holding a cup in the left hand and a weapon in the right was used for the protection of women and children. A very old and finely crafted piece, still in excellent condition, despite a few cracks. The detail of the face is exquisite.
