This is another unusual and rarely seen theme, depicting the actual birth of a child. It is probably made by the same sculptor that created the circumcision in the next image. Both sculptures were probably ordered by a high ranking person as part of his families history, just like people nowadays have photo albums or photo books. The sculptures were probably created in the early 1900’s when people started to be  influenced by European culture.
