The Luba as well as the neighbouring Hemba are well known for their large variety carvings of everyday useful items, like stools, pipes, neckrests,etc. The neckrests usually feature a pair of figures who either face each other or face exactly the other way.Here the faces are very close and they seem to talk to each other.
