Three female figures with typical Mangbetu elongated hairstyle offering symbolic cups form the base of the vessel. Sitting atop is a frog shaped figure which serves as a container of whatever special liquid is prepared. What looks like a fairytale frog princess with enticing eyes, ears, and mouth features also serves as spout for pouring the liquid. A “door” is attached on the top opening to enable the potion to be mixed and stirred.
